How long will it take?
This is the most commonly asked question and is simply not possible to answer with any accuracy because every transaction is different.
Most sales and purchases take about 6 weeks to complete however it may take less time if it is very straightforward or longer if the property is in a chain, if the property is leasehold or there are any other complications. Leasehold properties always take longer because there are additional requirements and information is usually required from third parties.

Most remortgages take 3 - 4 weeks to complete provided there are no complications.
